Should it be a cloudy day, we'll just have to wait a bit to catch it again. The next transit of Venus will take place in 2117.
• The Redding Board of Education will meet with the Easton Board of Education at 7 p.m. tonight in the library at Samuel Staples Elementary School. Following that meeting both boards are scheduled to hold their regular meetings in the school at 8 p.m.
• The Redding Conservation Commission meest tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Town House.
