Parker's Steaks and Scotch Opened

Written by Aaron Leo

Trumbull-resident-owned Parker's Steaks and Scotch, announced in spring, is officially open.

Owners Pat Fahy and Al Barbarotta and Gov. Dannel Malloy christened the new Trumbull Center restaurant Sunday night at 921 White Plains Road. The site formerly housed a video store, carpet store and Dunkin' Donuts.

"The menu is an amplified version of his Stratford location, boasting a variety of superior steaks and an endless selection of premium scotches. The restaurant will have an upscale feel, without the pretentious vibe. Diners are able to enjoy their meals and malts indoors or outside on the beautifully covered patio," the owners said in a statement.

The restaurants hours will be Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Saturday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will be closed on Sunday.
