Eco-friendly Alex and Ani Jewelry Store Opens in Westport

Alex and Ani, the Rhode Island-based eco-friendly, positive energy jewelry store has opened a shop on Post Road East in Westport. 

The store takes over the space that once housed The Avenue. Alex and Ani opened on July 9. 

Alex and Ani's mission with its jewelry is to "adorn the body, enlighten the mind, and empower the spirit," according to the Westport site's Facebook pagel. 

The jewelry, designed by Carolyn Rafaelian and Made in America with Love, is made in the United States with reused and recycled materials. 

"We hope to bring you the most positive shopping experience around," the company stated via Facebook, announcing the opening of the Westport store. 

Alex and Ani's 117 Post Road East location is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
