New England Ballet to Bring 'Nutcracker' to Life

Easton resident and New England Ballet Company dancer Gianna Forte is busy rehearsing for Nutcracker. New England Ballet Company returns for the 20th year, continuing its tradition of winter holiday performances of the holiday favorite, Nutcracker. Performances will be at Parsons Auditorium, 70 West River Street, Milford on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. and a matinee performance on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20-$45.

At the same venue on Dec. 16th at 7 p.m., New England Ballet Company is proud to present the Second Annual performance of an integrated dance and theatre program for individuals with autism and special needs in an adaptation of Nutcracker Suite. This very special performance is a collaborative effort between New England Ballet Company, the City of Milford’s Adaptive Arts Program, and the Kennedy Center, Inc. Tickets are $20.

New England Ballet Company has also added another full length production of the Nutcracker featuring the entire cast after recently being named the Resident Ballet Company of the Klein. Tickets for the Dec. 10, 2 p.m. performance at Klein Memorial Auditorium, 910 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport are also available for $25-$45.

In addition on November 27 New England Ballet Company’s 8th Sugar Plum Party will be at the Stratford Theatre, 2422 Main St., Stratford with performances at 12:30 and 3 p.m.. All tickets are $15.
