The Chris Coogan Quintet will perform on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Norfield Grange, 12 Good Hill Road, Weston. The performance will feature new arrangements, jazz standards and original music from the group's CD, "Stars and Wind." The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The quintet is comprised of Coogan (Weston) on piano and vocals, Jim Clark (Norwalk) on sax, Rex Denton (Madison) on trumpet, Jim Royle (Monroe) on drums and John Mobilio (Watertown) on bass. This book really was a great read. And I bet his reading will be quite a performance too. Mr. Black…Read More is not only very, very funny, but very astute too. He's a screenwriter, so it shouldn't have surprised me to find that he is an excellent writer, but I was really impressed.
