eBooks Coming to Weston Library

The following is a press release sent by Karen Tatarka, Weston Public Library's director.

Starting Aug. 30, any patron with a current library card will have free access to downloadable eBooks through the library’s website.

The library’s new subscription to OverDrive provides 24/7 access from any device anywhere with an Internet connection to a full selection of current and classic titles for children, teens and adults. OverDrive titles can be viewed on your Mac, PC, or your favorite portable device including iPods, iPads, Nooks, BlackBerrys, Androids and smartphones. Kindle users will be able to download OverDrive titles later this year. Audiobook fans will find a wide selection of new downloadable titles, too, to compliment the Library’s already popular eAudiobook selection available through NetLibrary and the Connecticut State Library.

More information on OverDrive and the Library’s other print and electronic resources can be found at westonpubliclibrary.org or by calling 203-222-2665. Follow the Weston Public Library on Facebook and Twitter for updates on library services and events.
