Tell us a little about yourself:
I was originally a set designer in Manhatten for 16 years and has always been my savior. When I moved to Connecticut I decided to follow my dreams and open up . I teach Ansura Yoga. It is a style of yoga created by a man named John Friend. It's a heart-centric yoga with an emphasis on and community.
How long have you lived in Redding?
I've lived here for almost five years.
What is your best memory in Redding?
My best memory was probably opening . It was one of the best, craziest moments of my life.
What is your favorite aspect of Redding?
I think it's the people here. The people in Redding really seem to be seekers. People are really sweet, loving and open around here. I like how quaint it is, but there is also so much to do and see around here.
What keeps you here?
My business, my son and the school district. I love that Redding provides a nice mix of the country and culture. I rarely go to the city anymore, actually.
What do you do for fun in Redding?
We like hike in alot. We love the Little Pub and . I'm rarely not working though.
Do you do any volunteer work?
I offer free yoga classes to the local and I've also done some volunteer work for the Mark Twain Library, doing a program called "Yoga in Your Chair." Seniors and people with physical limitations were able to participate.
