Love at First Sight, Loud Daddies and More

Get Loud on the Green

When/Where: On the Redding Town Green, Sunday June 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Why Go: Louder Daddy, a non-typical cover band will be rocking out on the green. This band wants to hear what you have to say about their sounds and stage presence. You can give them feedback on their performance after the concert at http://www.louderdaddy.com.  For information on cancelations call 203-938-5036 after 4 p.m.

Spontaneous Arts and Crafts

When/Where:  Saturday, June 18 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Wilton Library.

Why Go: Children of all ages will be warmly welcomed by the Wilton library staff on Saturday to create Father’s Day Crafts. Glitter, glue and many things blue will be available for children to test out their artistic talent. This event will be happening thanks to the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.

Pricing: Free

A Document and Dialogue

When/Where: Saturday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m. at The Wilton Library.

Why Go: Learn about what it takes to bring a community of diversity together. See the challenges that people face and the humanity they use to overcome their differences to be a thriving entity. There will be a question and answer session after the documentary is over.

Pricing: Free. Donations accepted.

Seascape with Sharks & Dancer

When/Where: Friday through Sunday, June 17 through June 19, at The Ridgefield Theater Barn. The show begins at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Why Go: Enjoy a quirky play one night this evening. This play is about love at first sight and everything that comes along with it.

Pricing: $24 adults, $20 seniors and students.

Family Drop-in Weekend at the Aldrich

When/Where: Saturday, June 18 at The Aldrich Contemporary Museum from 12 to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Children can get their hands messy this weekend in an artistic setting. Encourage your children to ask questions and check out the education center to create hands-on projects while you are there.

This book really was a great read. And I bet his reading will be quite a performance too. Mr. BlackRead More is not only very, very funny, but very astute too. He's a screenwriter, so it shouldn't have surprised me to find that he is an excellent writer, but I was really impressed.
