The Redding Republican Town Committee announced several endorsements following its March 31st meeting at the Spinning Wheel Inn. Prior to making the endorsements, the Committee heard from several additional candidates seeking endorsement for this fall’s state and federal election.

State Treasurer: Tim Herbst
U.S. Congress 4th District: John Shaban
State Senate 26th District: Toni Boucher
State Assembly 2nd District: Dan Carter
Probate Judge: Joe Egan
“We’re pleased to see such a strong group of qualified Republican candidates step forward this year, and selecting from among them is not an easy task,” said Ward Mazzucco, Redding RTC Chair. “This strong turnout of candidates is a positive sign that people in our state are not happy with the current leadership in Hartford and Washington and want a new direction that will make us a more fiscally responsible and economically sound place to live and do business,” he added.
