PINK SUMO UNVEILS NEW LUNCH & HAPPY HOUR MENUS

Westport’s popular sushi staple, Pink Sumo Sushi & Sake Café, has just given Connecticut residents two more reasons to pay them a visit: a new and improved lunch menu and an array of Happy Hour specials that will secure Pink Sumo’s place on the list of afternoon and after work hot spots. Available from 11am-3pm daily, Pink Sumo’s revamped lunch menu provides even more affordable options for sushi lovers. Signature Rolls like the Sumo King—which features king salmon, lobster, mango & avocado topped with spicy king crab and usually costs $18—will now only run you $10 between the hours of 11am and 3pm. Classic rolls, which are usually priced at around $7, are now only $4 during lunch. Looking to skip the sushi? Pink Sumo’s got you covered with their Sumo Bento Box, served with your choice of teriyaki chicken ($13), filet mignon ($16), shrimp ($14) or salmon ($14) and served with miso soup, white rice, a California roll, fried shumai and salad. Introduced just before Memorial Day weekend, Pink Sumo’s Happy Hour menu is now available daily from 2pm-6pm and features a bevy of food and drink specials for the afternoon crowd. During Happy Hour, specialty martinis and cocktails—like the fan favorite Jalapeno Margarita—cost $7, select wines and sake cost $5 and draft beer just $4. A variety of Pink Sumo’s popular appetizers also appear on the menu with significantly lower price tags: Rock Shrimp for $6, Wild Crab Wontons for $5 and Spicy Crispy Calamari for $6, just to name a few.
