Julia Pemberton, candidate for First Selectman in Redding, was endorsed last week by the Editors of both The Redding Pilot, and The News Times.
The News Times stated:
“Pemberton's involvement in Redding – including a leadership role in the school board and serving the past four years on the Board of Selectman –
has put her in a better position to grasp and act on the key issues facing the community. We also believe Pemberton would take a more aggressive, more creative approach to revitalizing Georgetown and broadening Redding's narrow tax base.”
Separately, The Redding Pilot endorsed Leon Karvelis, who is running with Julia for a Selectman's seat.
