Event at Mark Twain Library

Five time Grammy Award winner and founding father of the modern Frame Drum movement Glen Velez, with internationally renown rhythm vocalist Lori Cotler, will present two programs at the Mark Twain Library on Sunday, October 2.  At 1:30 pm,  the two will lead a workshop of drumming and voice.  They will bring instruments for participants to play and anyone age 10 and over is welcome.  At 4:30 p.m. the two musicians will perform together.  For a preview go to their web sites: http://www.glenvelez.com and http://www.loricotler.com.
    Admission is free but registration requested. There is a signup sheet at the library or call 938-2545.  Velez's drums, CDs and other merchancise will be on sale.
