Smurf, a miracle kitten needs your help

Smurf is an extraordinary kitten who recently had a miracle surgery to save his life.

Smurf is an extraordinary kitten. He came to us after his mother died, when he was just 4 weeks old. He recently had surgery to correct his congenital condition, pectus excavatum - it's a congenital deformity where several ribs & the sternum grow abnormally causing a dent in his chest that was impairing his cardiac and respiratory function. To correct it the surgeon made a custom splint and sutured his sternum to it in order to pull it down into a normal position. The splint will stay on for about 6 weeks and we will be checking and making adjustments every 2 weeks.

Please considering helping by donating towards his vet bills.
