Fire Destroys Home in Northern Weston
The Weston Fire Department, with assistance from neighboring departments, put out a fire that ravaged a home on Woods End Lane Wednesday afternoon.
A house on Woods End Lane was destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon, though authorities reported no one was injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
The received mutual aid from the Georgetown and Wilton Fire Departments, and Godfrey Road East was shut down surrounding Woods End Lane.

The house, located at 6 Woods End Lane, is owned by John and Jane Horner, who've owned it since June 1999, according to Vision Appraisal. It's valued at $1.175 million.
