A Coffee Shop Comes to Weston

J.K. Cafe will open next to the Cobb's Mill Inn.

In 2012, after being closed for two years, a restaurant opened at Cobb's Mill Inn. In 2013, it appears a coffee shop will open on the property there as well.

According to The Weston Forum, the Weston Planning and Zoning Commission recently gave the green light to the property's owner, Drew Friedman, to go ahead with renovations to what used to be a gift shop in order to transform it into a coffee shop.

The shop—J.K. Cafe—will serve coffee, soups, sandwiches and pastries, offer seating to up to 40 customers and offer WiFi as well, according to The Forum.

The zoners were initially split on whether to grant the permit, but ultimately voted 6-1 in its favor.
